STEPANAKERT. – The serviceman who was wounded yesterday in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) is in critical condition.
The Artsakh Defense Ministry statement in this regard notes that on January 28, at about 2:55am, Nver Avetisyan (born in 2000), a soldier of the Artsakh Defense Army, received gunshot wounds at the security post of a Defense Army military unit located in the southeastern direction, and in still unknown circumstances.
As per the statement, this soldier was immediately taken to a military hospital, and his condition is assessed as critical.
An investigation is underway to find out the details of the incident.
