Another 8 Armenian citizens who are in China's Wuhan city have refused to be evacuated, the Armenian Embassy in China has noted in a statement.
According to the statement, as of February 6, two Armenian citizens were evacuated from Wuhan city of Hubei province, in connection with the spread of the new coronavirus in China. Another 8 Armenian citizens in the same province, however, have refused to be evacuated on the grounds that they felt safer on location.
As per the statement, if foreign nationals wish to depart from China, they can do so by regular scheduled flights.
According to the statement, at the same time, the possibility of a charter flight from Armenia is being considered.
As per the statement, the Embassy of Armenia in China continues to monitor the situation, and provide legal, consular, informational, consulting, and other assistance within its powers.
