YEREVAN. – The criminal case of Henrik Abrahamyan, the brother of Armenia’s former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, will go to court on February 3. The case will be heard at a court of general jurisdiction of Ararat and Vayots Dzor Provinces. Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned this from the judicial information system.
Henrik Abrahamyan is charged with illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
Along the lines of this criminal, charges were also filed against Ambik Gevorgyan, a resident of Mrgavet village, through prior consent with whom, Henrik Abrahamyan had illegally kept ammunition at a former factory in Mkhchyan village of Ararat province, and which is under Gevorgyan’s name but is actually owned by Hovik Abrahamyan.
Henrik Abrahamyan was released on bail, while Ambik Gevorgyan was released on a signature bond to leave the country.
