YEREVAN. – Ararat Mirzoyan, Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, has sent to the Office of President Armen Sarkissian the draft for putting the constitutional amendments to a referendum. Presidential aide Hasmik Petrosyan told this to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

As per the legislation, Sarkissian has three days whether or not to ratify it.

Under this draft, Article 213 of the Constitution shall be amended so that the powers of the Constitutional Court judges who are elected before April 2018 shall be terminated.
