Sanitek waste management company will appeal to the International Court of Arbitration against Armenia, said Sanitek spokesperson Qnar Araqelyan.

According to her, Sanitek has been fully engaged for the past few months in the preparatory work for submitting a claim to the court. The legal team includes both specialists from Armenia and international experts. They have already completed the process of collecting documents, and the International Arbitration Court will soon receive a lawsuit from them.

Sanitek earlier issued a statement and informed that expropriation was carried out in its relation, as a foreign investor.

Neither the Armenian government, nor Yerevan city hall had responded to the notification of the resolution of the existing investment dispute by negotiation, and thus the preparation of documents for submission to the International Arbitration Court has kicked off.
