A matter of sending Kazakh peacekeepers to Armenia within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is not yet on the agenda. Mukhtar Tileuberdi, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, told about this to reporters on Wednesday, according to Vlast.

"The matter [of sending peacekeepers] is not put. Yesterday, at the special session of the CSTO Collective Security Council, the Prime Minister of Armenia informed the leaders of the [other] CSTO member states about the situation on the border of Azerbaijan and Armenia. In general, the information is accepted. Of course, we wanted to get objective information, as different information comes from both sides. Therefore, in general, the heads of [CSTO member] states made a decision so that the Secretary General of the CSTO shall go and get a complete picture [of the situation] on the spot, and then inform the heads of [the CSTO member] states," said Tileuberdi.

At the same time, he noted that it should be assumed that the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia is not delimited yet, and therefore "it is difficult to talk about any violation of the border."

According to the deputy PM and the FM of Kazakhstan, the priority task today is the resumption of the work of the joint commission on the delimitation and demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, and Kazakhstan is ready to share its experience in this regard.
