Armenia reaffirms its commitment to fostering peace in the South Caucasus. Ararat Mirzoyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, made this declaration during a National Assembly meeting on October 4.

Mirzoyan stressed the belief that all issues should be resolved through negotiations and that there is no alternative to peace in the South Caucasus. However, he expressed concern that one of the parties involved does not share this perspective and occasionally resorts to the use of force or threats of force.

He emphasized that Armenia remains dedicated to building peace in the South Caucasus and that such peace can be achieved through mutual recognition of territorial integrity based on Soviet-era maps. Mirzoyan concluded by stating that all other matters should and can be addressed within the framework of these principles.
