More than 110 Americans are under the threat of worsening weather conditions that are concentrated on the East Coast, south of the New England region, reports CNN.

Thirty million people may face strong storms in the northeast of the country, and there is a tornado warning in a number of cities, including the capital, as well as neighboring Baltimore (Maryland) and Philadelphia (Pennsylvania).

The death toll from these hurricanes and tornadoes has reached 21, including four children.

Residents of the central states of Arkansas, Kentucky, Texas, and Oklahoma have become victims of bad weather.

Earlier, AP informed about 20 dead and hundreds of injured.
