Close partner relations between Jerusalem and Baku were strained by an excursion of a group of Israeli women who toured picturesque mountains and plains of the South Caucasus, Israeli portal IzRus izrus.co.il reports referring to Yedioth Ahronoth daily.

The Israeli tourists’ trip to Nagorno-Karabakh angered official Baku. Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan was given a note of protest.
