Murat Nazaryan, who is accused of attacking elderly Istanbul-Armenian women, addressed the court saying he had not killed anyone.

Moreover, Nazaryan claims he does not remember anything, while his statements in police were made under psychological pressure. The judge decided to postpone the hearing to November 4.

To note, a number of attacks were carried out, between December 2012 and January 2013, against elderly Armenian women in Istanbul’s densely-Armenian-populated Samatya district. Istanbul Armenian Murat Nazaryan was arrested on suspicion of carrying out these assaults. 

Those who know Nazaryan claim that he is a very calm person and it is mind-boggling that he is accused of carrying out such act.
