YEREVAN. – Shots were fired Tuesday in a park in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, and one person was injured.

Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned that a group of boys were arguing in the park, during which shots were fired and, subsequently, one of them, an eighteen-year-old university student, was hospitalized with gunshot wound around his eyes.

The Police have confirmed this information which Armenian News-NEWS.am had received, and added that the person who had fired the shots has not yet been found. 

The weapon, which was used in this crime, is being searched.

An investigation is underway.
