YEREVAN. – After the cableway in Tatev opened, the number of the tourists increased, owner of Mirhav restaurant in Goris city Shahen Zeytuntsyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The restaurant was awarded with the golden medal by the Armenian Ministry of Economy. Majority of the tourists are Armenians, whereas foreigners reserve rooms earlier. Besides, hotel prices did not go up after the cable car opened. Price for one room is AMD 17,400 ($47), while double is AMD 21,600 ($58).
Zeytuntsyan said that he is currently building the second complex of the hotel. Goris city may become the second touristic resort in Armenia after Tsakhkadzor. Some works as to improve street lights, restaurant service, and transportations are still to carry out.
