“Undoubtedly, Azerbaijani President realizes a sheer unacceptability of solution by force to Azerbaijan-Karabakh conflict. International community opposes this option, the recent experience also proves unacceptability of coercive methods in conflict resolution. However, the military scenario cannot be plumb ruled out as well,” said Karabakhi expert Ashot Adamyan.

Commenting on warlike statements by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the expert underlined, “Menacing war — is not a smart move to plead in the concession further.” In addition, NKR defense army is ready to repel accordingly.

According to Adamyan, “Madrid Principles are abortive” and cannot please Karabakhi side, which was repeatedly stated by NKR civilians.

The expert links Armenia-Turkey relations’ intensification with increasing role of Iran in South Caucasus, particularly in Armenia.
