“Under the circumstances, Nagorno-Karabakh should change the tone of its statements and, if necessary, make aggressive ones. The fact that we have been making pacific statements until now does not at all mean that different ones will not be made tomorrow. The world is rapidly changing today, and various situations may require various statements,” the public expert Ellada Sahakyan stated at a meeting of the NGOs’ Council and experts of Nagorno-Karabakh.

According to her, speeding up the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process is evidence of decisions made beforehand, which arouses concern.

“Some officials are supposed to deliver something time and again to simulate activities,” Sahakyan said, implying the Madrid Principles.
