ISTANBUL. – The Turkish Red Crescent rendered aid to one-hundred disadvantaged students at Istanbul’s Levon Vartuhyan Private Armenian School.

The Red Crescent’s president and director visited the Armenian school, where the Armenian students welcomed them with flowers. The Red Crescent administrators noted that they have brought food to the schoolchildren as first-phase assistance, and, subsequently, they will provide clothes and other accessories, Cihan News Agency of Turkey informs.         

Afterward, Turkish Red Crescent’s president personally took part in the unloading of the assistance containers.
