YEREVAN. – According to the rumors in Armenia’s politics, serving President Serzh Sargsyan and second President Robert Kocharyan had a long conversation recently in Nagorno-Karabakh, during which they discussed the question of Armenia’s future Premier, Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun daily reports.
“According to the same information, they say during the conversation Kocharyan very clearly noted that he has his real viewpoint with regards to the future PM and that he does not see himself in the role of the Premier, and, also, he does not wish to see in that office such candidates whose names are greatly uttered these days.
To note, in order to resolve the matter of the future PM, [and] knowing beforehand that Kocharyan has his objections in connection with the given candidate, some political circles are attempting to establish some ‘contact’ and warm relations with Kocharyan’s close entourage,” Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun writes.
