YEREVAN. – No delegation from Armenia’s National Assembly (NA) will head to Georgia to conduct an observation mission during the country’s parliamentary elections slated for October 1, Armenian News-NEWS.am’s sources have informed.
Representatives from NA delegations to either PACE or OSCE were to take part in this mission, but Artashes Geghamyan, for example—who heads NA delegation to OSCE—, will not go to Georgia because, as Geghamyan himself told Armenian News-NEWS.am, he will head to Albania on October 3 to attend the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA). The other members of this delegation likewise will not travel to Georgia, Armenia’s OSCE PA delegation secretary Anahit Gasparyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
No one from Armenia’s delegation to PACE likewise can head to Georgia, since PACE Fall Session will be convened between October 1 and 5.
