YEREVAN. – There were no transactions held at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Friday. It was based on high exchange rate of the US currency. The US dollar’s average exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 406.75 /$1, while on Thursday it was AMD 405/$1.
At the same time banks are ready to buy $1 at AMD 406.5 suggesting that the US currency will go up.
The country’s exchange offices are buying the US dollar at AMD 405.5 /$1 and selling at AMD 407.5 /$1.
