YEREVAN. – Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan chaired regular session of the Fund for Rural Economic Development in Armenia (FREDA) Board of Trustees.

The participants approved FREDA’s 2011 financial reports, the independent auditing conclusion, and the fund’s draft report, the Government press service informs.   

Also, the discussants reflected on reaffirming the nominations for the FREDA Investment Committee members and making changes in the makeup of the fund’s Board of Trustees. PM Sargsyan instructed the board members to submit proposals for likely candidates.   

In addition, the FREDA Board of Trustees members examined the results of the fund’s activities conducted in the first nine months of 2012. Also, Fund for Rural Economic Development Director Tigran Khanikyan delivered a report on the fund’s investment performance for the current year.
