PACE will do its utmost for Karabakh conflict settlement, newly appointed PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu said at the Jan. 25 press conference in Strasburg.

It is one of the issues expected to be resolved. OSCE Minsk Group members, co-chairing states and Switzerland continue their efforts into the resolution of Karabakh conflict, Cavusoglu stated.

He also underlined that settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is of paramount significance to Europe.

According to him, Armenia-Turkey accord will also contribute to the establishment of peace and security in the region. “War is not a method of solution to the problems on our continent,” Cavusoglu concluded.
