Activists from the FEMEN feminist protest group this time “invaded” the courtyard of the Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro, and they protested against Brazil becoming a “brothel.”

The girls, who had undressed themselves all the way to the waist, appeared near the palace and held banners that read: “Brazilian women can be bought here” and “Brazilian girl: $50.”

“This action by FEMEN points to the trends to turn the poor Latin American countries into a place for international sex and fast food,” the movement’s official statement says, LifeNews reports.

In addition, the FEMEN activists claim that, “The sex industry in Brazil has begun preparing for the [2014] World Cup [Brazil].”
