YEREVAN. – The political board of opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC) convened a session at ANC Central Office, Zhamanak daily reports.

“According to Zhamanak’s information, during the session the political board members still could not learn what position [ANC leader and First President] Levon Ter-Petrosyan has adopted in connection with the [forthcoming] presidential elections.

At the end of the day, will he run [for President], or could arrangement be made on supporting the [Prosperous Armenia Party] PAP’s representative? If, of course, the PAP nominates a candidate and does not support incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan,” Zhamanak writes.
