YEREVAN.- Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Hovik Abrahamyan would support incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan during the 2013 presidential elections.

In an interview with RFE/RL Armenian service, Abrahamyan said he would support Sargsyan even if Gagik Tsarukyan, father of his daughter-in-low, will decide to participate in the elections. He said “politics and relations between the relatives are different categories”.

Gagik Tsarukyan is expected to announce the format on his party’s participation in the 2013 presidential elections in coming days, after he returns from Brussels.
