YEREVAN. – At the initiative of the Government of Armenia, the National Assembly (NA) will convene a special session on December 17. The Government on Thursday adopted a decision to propose to the NA Speaker to call for a special session.  

The session agenda includes fourteen matters which are primarily economic bills, including a tax package. The agenda also comprises the proposal to make an amendment in the Law on Lotteries and Gaming Halls.   

Deputy PM and Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan said the session’s agenda mostly includes the laws that are in the second hearing phase, or have passed this phase.
