YEREVAN. – No considerable price increase is observed in Armenia for the past two months, “Protection of Consumers’ Rights” NGO Chairwoman Lusine Yaghubyan stated during a press conference on Friday. But she did not rule out the possibility that the prices of some products good increase towards the New Year.

As per the aforementioned NGO’s Vice Chairman Karen Chilingaryan, the prices of food products in Armenia rose by 2.6 percent in November, as compared with October of the current year. According to Chilingaryan, the pre-New Year price hikes are primarily occurring in the agricultural markets, whereas the situation is relatively stable in the stores.
