The World Council of Churches Armenia Inter-Church Round Table Foundation (ART), which functions at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, launched a rapid response program to provide assistance to the Syrian Armenian families that have found refuge in Armenia. 

The program, which formally launched on Monday, aims to provide food and essential hygiene supplies to 200 most needy Syrian Armenian families in Armenia. 

ART will distribute special supermarket cards to these families, and the latter will be able to make their necessary purchases with these cards and at certain intervals.  

Also, the Round Table Foundation workers and clergy members from the Araratian Pontifical Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church will visit the homes of Syrian Armenians to get acquainted with the needs of these families and to provide them spiritual support.
