YEREVAN.- U.S. Embassy in Armenia announced new visa application and appointment procedures.

The new procedures will make it quicker to apply for a U.S. non-immigrant visa and will be implemented starting from December 17, U.S. Consul George Lynn told reporters on Tuesday.

The details are available on www.usvisa-info.com website, he said. The application fee may be paid on telephone, online or in person at any branch of Ardshininvestbank.

Applicants with confirmed interview appointments will not be affected by the new procedures. They should appear at the Embassy on the date scheduled, and their applications will be processed as usual.
