YEREVAN.- Reports about vandalized Armenian cemetery in Jerusalem are untrue, Very Rev. Fr. Papken Anoushian
“I called Jerusalem and was told that our cemetery and the gates were not affected. The graffiti was sprayed on the walls of a Greek church,” he said.
He welcomed Benjamin Netanyahu’s condemnation of the actions.
“As a Christian, I want to thank him,” Anoushian added.
Earlier Armenian News-NEWS.am agency reported quoting AFP that a monastery and an Armenian cemetery in Jerusalem had been vandalized.
