Armenia and the European Union (EU) will sign a visa relaxation agreement on Monday. The document will be authorized during the Armenia-EU Cooperation Council session to be convened in Brussels.
Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian has already arrived in the Belgian capital to attend the session.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, the signing of this agreement on Monday became apparent on December 14, when the FMs of Poland, Sweden, and Bulgaria visited Armenia. They called upon Armenia to do everything possible to end the talks, with respect to the Association Agreement, prior to the Eastern Partnership summit to be held in Vilnius in November 2013.
Earlier, the Government of Armenia had adopted a decision, whereby the citizens of EU member states can visit Armenia without visas as of January 1, 2013.
