YEREVAN. – Servicemen of the Armenian military are actively learning abroad, MOD Personnel and Military Education Department Chief Mher Shirinyan said during a press conference on Monday.
In his words, more than 250 and 30 Armenian cadets and officers are receiving education in Russia and US, respectively, at present. The Armenian military servicemen are being educated in China, Poland, France, Greece, Lithuania, and Italy, as well.
Speaking about the innovations within Armenia’s Armed Forces, Shirinyan pointed to the testing system for the qualification of the officers. Specifically, an officer will have to undergo one-week, or longer, courses to receive a higher military rank.
