Conservative Shinzō Abe became the new Prime Minister of Japan. Lower chamber of the country’s parliament approved him in this position.  

The 58-year-old President of the Liberal Democratic Party, who headed the Japanese government in 2006-2007, as well, promised to take advantage of the second chance he was given and to take the world’s third largest economy out of the deep crisis.  Abe became Japan’s seventh PM in the past six years, the BBC Russian Service reports.

To note, the entire Cabinet of preceding PM Yoshihiko Noda has resigned.

Shinzō Abe must announce the new Government on Wednesday.
