A total of 42 babies were born in the maternity hospitals of Armenia’s Lori Region since the New Year.
Armenian News-NEWS.am’s Lori correspondent interviewed the directors of the medical facilities of the region, and they confirmed that no newborn mortalities were recorded in the given period.
Thirteen births were recorded in regional center Vanadzor city; the first birth was registered at 4:30am, and it was a girl. Ten babies were born at Tashir city maternity hospital; the first birth there was recorded on January 2. Seven births were registered at the medical center of Stepanavan city. There were six births at the Spitak city medical center, and nine births were recorded in Alaverdi city; the first babies here were born on January 1.
