YEREVAN. – Despite the heavy snowfall in Armenia, the South Caucasus Railway Company is working as normal. At present, the railway lines are being cleared of snow.

Close to 200 railway and three snow removal machinery was removing snow on Tuesday, the company’s press service informs.  

Snow removal will continue on Wednesday.

But since several motorways in Armenia are closed due to heavy snowfall, additional train commuting is designated to transfer all passengers.   

Also, the freight trains of South Caucasus Railway Company are operation according to schedule. The Yerevan-Tbilisi-Yerevan international passenger train and the domestic commuting trains likewise are operating according to schedule.
