YEREVAN.- Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received on Friday newly appointed representative of the Council of Europe Secretary General Oleksandr Pavlyuk.

Welcoming the official, Minister Nalbandian congratulated him on the appointment, expressing hope that progress in implementation of joint programs will be reached during his mission.

Armenian FM underscored importance of cooperation in the context of Armenia’s upcoming chairmanship in the Council of Europe.

In his turn, Oleksandr Pavlyuk assured he would spare no effort to realize provisions of the Armenia-Council of Europe action plan for 2012-2014.

The sides discussed participation of the observation mission in forthcoming presidential election.
