YEREVAN.- Free Democrats Party has no decision whether they will support any presidential candidate in the upcoming February 18 election

Talking to Armenian News-NEWS.am, chairman Khachatur Kokobelyan said they would voice their position by the end of next week. It is not ruled out that the party would support none of the candidate.

Election is not the only way to promote the ideas, Kokobelyan said, explaining his party’s decision not to nominate a candidate. The situation cannot change dramatically without consolidation of certain opposition field, he is confident.

Asked about supporting Raffi Hovannisian -- former partner whose Heritage Party helped Free Democrats to enter the parliament  -- Kokobelyan said it is the closed issue.
