YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s interstate highways and inter-village roads are primarily drivable, as of Wednesday at 10am, but there is black ice on some road sections, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

But the Selim Mountain Pass and several inter-village motorways in Gegharkunik and Shirak regions are closed for traffic.

Also, some inter-village roads in Gegharkunik, Shirak, and Aragatsotn regions are difficult to pass.

And according to the information received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, the Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway—which leads to the Armenian border—is open solely for passenger vehicles with chained wheels.

Snow removal and road cleaning are in progress.
