Georgia’s national Olympic committee voted for participation in the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
All 46 delegates representing sport federation voted for the participation during the special session of the Committee.
Russia and Georgia broke off diplomatic relations after the August 2008 war. Earlier representatives of former ruling party were speaking about possible boycottingof the Olympic Games.
Georgian PM Bidzina Ivanishvili did not share their views, saying his country must participate in the Games.
