STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) President Bako Sahakyan on Thursday signed a decree on the results of considering the applications for granting pardon.
According to the Presidential decree, two prisoners were granted full pardon, whereas thirteen others were granted partial pardon, Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President informs.
But the respective applications by 67 other convicts were turned down; this was due to their previously committed crimes, negative characteristics from the places of their imprisonment, and the nature and degree of social danger of the committed crimes.
