Armenia’s acting Emergency Situations Minister Armen Yeritsyan, who is the coalition government’s junior partner, Orinats Yerkir (Rule of Law) Party’s (RLP), capital city Yerevan mayoral candidate, noted the aforesaid during Friday’s closing meeting for the campaign season of Sunday’s Yerevan Council election.

In Yeritsyan’s words, he will be a good mayor and everyone will like him. 

To a news reporter’s query that, if he is against men holding each other’s hands, what is his view on men greeting one another with a kiss, which is prevalent in Armenia, the mayoral candidate responded by saying that it is more preferable that men shake hands to greet one another.      

Armen Yeritsyan added that the media compel the officials to work more tightly.
