YEREVAN. – The Armenian Police have formed a coordinating team to ensure the normal course of the capital city Yerevan Council election to be conducted on Sunday.

In addition to the Police hotline, two extra telephonic links also will be in service on Election Day.    

The Police call upon the campaign headquarters to notify them, or to apply to the police officers on duty, in the case of any election irregularity. 

“We assure that no notification will be left unanswered, [and] any violation will receive a proportionate response. The Police underscore collaboration with the mass media and also expect their assistance. And those who consider themselves above the law, will be brought to account,” the Armenian Police announcement reads in particular.
