YEREVAN. – No one has petitioned to the courts so far in connection with Sunday’s Armenian capital city Yerevan Council of Elders election.
Armenian Judicial Department’s International Cooperation and Public Relations Service Chief Arsen Babayan told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Separately, Central Electoral Commission (CEC) Press Secretary Hermine Harutyunyan informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that they have not received any written complaints up to now, and the CEC Situation Analysis Center is following the media reports on election irregularities and is responding to these reports.
“As of 11:30am, CEC received 26 reports on election violations, [and] explanations are given, or appropriate measures are taken, on all of them,” Harutyunyan stated.
