YEREVAN. – Armenia’s first president, leader of opposition Armenian National Congress Levon Ter-Petrosyan on Thursday visited Victory Park and laid flowers at the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier.

Responding to reporters’ inoffensive question how he will mark the holiday, Ter-Petrosyan was angered by the word “to mark.” He stressed that saying “to celebrate” they mean “to drink.”  

“Forget this word,” he said, recalling that this refers to nothing but drinking.
