YEREVAN. – A delegation led by Armenia’s Police Chief, Police Lieutenant General Vladimir Gasparyan, laid a wreath and placed flowers, on Wednesday morning in capital city Yerevan’s Victory Park, to the memorial of the combatants of the Special Police Detachment.     

In connection with Victory and Peace Day, the delegation members paid tribute to their colleagues that have fallen in the name of the homeland.

Also, Gasparyan congratulated the veteran police officers of World War II and the Karabakh War, Police News Department informs.

In addition, the Police delegation laid a wreath and placed flowers to the Memorial of the Unknown Soldier, as a sign of gratitude and in memory of the soldiers that achieved victory and sacrificed their lives, in the name of peace, in the Great Patriotic War.
