YEREVAN. - The head of Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission (CEC) Tigran Mukuchyan cancelled the scheduled press-conference, organized by the Radio Liberty on Facebook.

According to the press-release of the Armenian CEC, received by the Armenian News-NEWS.am, the questions received on the Facebook prior to the press-conference “did not meet the basic criteria of ethical standards.” Thus, the CEC decided that “the press-conference in the mentioned format will not be productive in any case and will not meet ethical norms.”

Earlier Armenian CEC was harshly criticized by opposition for falsifications during federal and local elections. However, the majority of critique was not formally supported in the courts.

Some of the Facebook questions to the Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission, which probably raised the anger of the CEC, were the following:

“What else do you falsify outside your work?”
“Mr. Mukuchyan, I have to pass an exam on June; can we think of something to get me whatever grade I want, I mean, to get the score I need?”
“Mr. Mukuchyan, in which prison would You like to pay the penalty after the revolution?”
“What kind of a human being will falsify the elections?”
