YEREVAN. – Former presidential candidate, leader of Heritage party Raffi Hovannisian held a meeting of his supporters on Thursday at Liberty Square.

Addressing the participants, Hovannisian reiterated his calls to continue the struggle, as “it is impossible to achieve success in a day.”

“I came here to say that I am not retreating. The struggle continues for those who were next to me and with  the national movement,” he said.

Leader of the opposition party assured his supporters that he does not need the president’s seat, adding that Armenia needs “a new generation.”

He also informed about the May 19 meeting with the representatives of the groups who are considering themselves the supporters of the struggle.
