The identities of those persons, who were injured as a result of a major car accident in Armenia’s Ararat Region, are determined.

Vedi city resident Hakob Stepanyan, 27, Alaverdi city resident Gohar Gevorgyan, 27, Vardashen village—in Armavir Region—resident Knarik Gevorgyan, 23, and capital city Yerevan resident Arayik Khachatryan, 21, suffered injuries as a result of the collision, the Police informed Armenian News-NEWS.am

These persons are hospitalized and they are in very severe health condition.  

To note, Armenia’s Rescue Service received information, on Friday at 8:56am, notifying that a car accident had occurred nearby the bridge of Dimitrov village of Ararat Region, and that there was a natural gas leak and rescuers were needed.

A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene, the Rescue Service informed.  

It was found out that a VAZ 21010-model vehicle had gone off road, for yet unknown reasons on the Yerevan-Yeraskh motorway, collided with the roadside, turned over, and an ensuing gas leak had started.
