YEREVAN. – The Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) and the Armenian National Congress (ANC) Party have not yet discussed the invitation for cooperation that was extended by Raffi Hovannisian.

With respect to this invitation, non-pro-government PAP Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan’s spokeswoman Iveta Tonoyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that, “Such matter has not yet been discussed at this point.”

She also noted that they are familiar with the proposal, but she cannot say whether or not this proposal will be discussed, and if it will be examined, when this could take place.

Opposition ANC Party representative Zoya Tadevosyan likewise stated that she cannot inform anything at this point because they, too, have not yet examined this issue.

“Once the matter is discussed after the no-work days, only then can we express our view,” Tadevosyan added.

To note, opposition Heritage Party Chairman, ex-presidential candidate, former FM Raffi Hovannisian had made a statement, at capital city Yerevan’s Liberty Square, and specifically noted as follows:

“He who considers himself a subject to consolidation and respects the people’s voice [during in the presidential election that was held] on February 18, [and he] who believes that the people’s voice was disabled [during the Yerevan Council of Elders election] on May 5, I invite [them] to [Yerevan’s] Ani Hotel on May 19.”
