YEREVAN. – During its session on Saturday, the Armenian Central Electoral Commission (CEC) will discuss the opposition Heritage Party-led “Barev [Hello], Yerevan” bloc’s petition to declare the recent Yerevan Council of Elders election null and void.  

CEC Press Secretary Hermine Harutyunyan told the above-said to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The session will also consider the petitions by Armenian citizen Narine Ghazaryan and Heritage member Daniel Ionesyan. In addition, the Control Chamber report will be examined.     

To note, the “Barev, Yerevan” bloc on Friday issued a statement asserting that there are hundreds of reports, from virtually all precincts, concerning voting fraud during the aforesaid capital city Yerevan election that was held on May 5.
