YEREVAN. – The Armenian Government-Affiliated General Department of Civil Aviation signed a working agreement with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).  

Pursuant to this document, the EASA regulations on security control and air navigation service will be installed in Armenia.     

In line with these regulations, when granting permission to the organizations that provide air-transport-related services, these organizations will have to present information on their economic and financial capacities, as well as facts attesting that the given organization is subject to a regular independent financial audit.

The draft on making changes in Armenia’s current regulation in this respect is included in the agenda of Thursday’s Cabinet session.
