YEREVAN. – The defense ministries of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh dismissed Azerbaijani press reports on alleged “injury of a Russian serviceman.”

Spokesperson for Armenian Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the reports are false. He said that Armenian side has not incurred losses. There are no injured soldiers, he added.

“Besides, unlike Azerbaijanis, we do not employ mercenaries,” Hovhannisyan emphasized.

In his turn, representative of Karabakh Defense Army Senor Hasratyan labeled the reports as “regular misinformation.”

Earlier on Tuesday APA agency said “a Russian serviceman dealing with preparation of Armenian snipers and raiding forces” was allegedly injured in the line of contact back on April 25.

However, the Azerbaijani side is not providing any evidence. Azerbaijani allegations are pursuing precise goals, including the attempts to discredit Russia as a co-chairing state of the OSCE Minsk Group.

During the first four months of 2013, Azerbaijani side violated ceasefire regime with Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh over 4,800 times.
